The Biotechnology Research and Development pathway includes occupations involved in bioscience research and development as it applies to human health. Workers in Biotechnology create, design, develop, and evaluate systems and products such as artificial organs, medication information systems, prostheses, medical equipment and instrumentation, and heath management and care systems. Georgia has a growing biotech industry with many new companies calling our state home.
